Who I am…
My passion for dog training began around nine years ago when I got my Malinois puppy. Like many high-drive working breeds, he came with his fair share of challenges, and I quickly realised how important clear communication, structure, and consistent training are for building a good relationship with your dog.
My experience working with dogs also includes years of professional dog walking in Pembrokeshire, where I handle a wide range of breeds, ages, and temperaments. Managing multiple dogs in real-life environments gave me valuable experience reading canine behaviour, understanding different personalities, and developing calm, practical handling skills.
Alongside this hands-on experience, I have continued developing my knowledge through further education, including completing an Advanced Dog Trainer course online, a Dog Trainer Development Week with Yorkshire Canine Academy, and an in-person dog behaviour workshop with Phoenixk9.
While courses and education are valuable, I believe dog training is ultimately about experience, observation, and working with the dog in front of you.
As a parent raising a young family, I also understand how challenging it can be to balance everyday life with training a dog. My aim is to provide practical training that fits into real life, helping owners make steady progress without feeling overwhelmed.
